By booking your vacation with Private Vacation Britain you agree to the following terms and conditions.
If you do not agree, please do not book any tours with us.

TOUR PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50 percent deposit is required once your itinerary is agreed and dates are booked.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card.
An invoice will be emailed with payment details.
The remaining balance is due 28 days before your first service day.

ENTRY TICKETS
All entry tickets are purchased on your behalf before arrival.
Tickets are issued in your name using your payment details.
These tickets remain your property.
Private Vacation Britain accepts no liability for these tickets.
If your trip is cancelled, tickets remain yours and no claims can be made against us.

COMPANY RIGHTS
We reserve the right to cancel bookings if necessary.
If we cancel, our service fee will be refunded within 7 working days.
This does not include tickets, hotels, or entertainment bookings.
We also reserve the right to refuse service.
We are also part of the KPT Group Vacations Ltd.

COMPLETION OF SERVICE
At the end of your tour you will be asked to sign a form confirming the service has been completed.
You will also confirm that payment has been made in full.

ADMIN AND CARD FEES
All admin and card fees are included in our service fee.
No additional charges will be applied.

HOTELS AND ACCOMMODATION
We will book accommodation on your behalf once your itinerary is agreed.
You will provide your preferred budget and hotel standard.
We will do our best to meet your requirements.
All bookings are made in your name using your payment details.
These bookings remain your responsibility.
We accept no liability for them.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
Your package includes entry tickets.
Vehicle hire and driver guide.
Fuel and parking.
Bottled water and snacks.
Wi Fi and phone chargers.
Umbrellas hats gloves and scarves.
Congestion charges.
Breakfast is included with your hotel.
Lunch is included up to a set budget per person.
Dinner can be added if agreed.

ATTRACTIONS
Some attractions do not allow guides inside.
In these cases your guide will explain everything before entry.
They will meet you at the exit at an agreed time.
At English Heritage and National Trust sites guides may enter with you.

DRESS CODE
Clients must dress appropriately for their tour.
Please check the weather on the day of your tour.
Ensure you wear suitable clothing and footwear.
If unsure please contact us.

TRAFFIC AND ATTRACTION ISSUES
We are not responsible for issues at attractions such as closures or staff shortages.
We will always try to offer alternatives where possible.
We are also not responsible for traffic delays.
We will always aim to find the safest and quickest route.

PICKUP AND DROP OFF
Pickup will be from your hotel or residence.
Please be ready at the agreed time.
Late starts may shorten your itinerary.
Drop off is usually between 5pm and 9pm depending on your tour.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER TIME
Additional driver time is available if you wish to extend your day.
This includes dinner or evening shows.
The rate is 250 pounds per hour unless already agreed.
Please give reasonable notice.

DRIVERS AND VEHICLES
We will assign the most suitable driver and vehicle for your tour.
You may request a preference but this is not guaranteed.
We reserve the right to change drivers or vehicles if needed.

VEHICLE DAMAGE AND BEHAVIOUR
Clients are responsible for any damage caused.
A 500 pound cleaning fee applies if the vehicle is soiled.
All clients must behave respectfully at all times.
Abusive behaviour will result in immediate termination with no refund.
Serious incidents may be reported to the police.

INSURANCE AND PERSONAL ITEMS
Our drivers are insured with public liability cover.
We strongly recommend that you arrange travel insurance.
We are not responsible for lost stolen or damaged items.
Please keep valuables with you at all times.

CLIENT SAFETY
Clients must be fit to take part in the tour.
All instructions from the guide must be followed.
Clients take part at their own risk.
We strongly advise travel insurance during your stay.
To provide the best service and maintain our tour schedules, we have established the following policy regarding cancellations:
Non-Refundable Deposits
If any client wish to make a cancellation of the booked tour package 28 days or less prior to the scheduled start date of your first tour, the deposit paid to us at the time of booking for our tour fee is strictly non-refundable. This does not apply to entry tickets or hotels as stated below as they are client responsibility in the first place. This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including but not limited to personal emergencies, travel delays, or medical issues, etc.
We highly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may result in a cancellation.
This policy is non-negotiable and if you do not agree with it, please do not proceed with your reservation.
We are happy to discuss this policy to clarify any points before you place your deposit payment.
